Job Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for a wide range of tasks designed to maintain efficient and safe bus operations. These include:
Receiving vehicles at the start of each shift and thoroughly inspecting all necessary legal documents, such as the driver’s license, vehicle registration papers, schedules, tariffs, permits, and other essential forms.
Conducting routine technical inspections of the bus and its key components in accordance with legal standards and internal operating procedures.
Overseeing the boarding and disembarkation of passengers, ensuring that all safety protocols are observed and that the bus doors are securely closed before departure.
Managing the ticketing process, including receiving ticket machines, verifying ticket reports, issuing tickets to passengers, logging sales, and ensuring all revenue is properly recorded.
Handling basic bus maintenance tasks such as replacing worn-out tires, windshield wipers, or fuel filters to prevent disruptions in service.
Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
A minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
At least a high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
A valid D category driver’s license accompanied by a certification of eligibility.
