The Fulbright Foreign Student Program operates in more than 160 countries worldwide. Approximately 4,000 foreign students receive Fulbright scholarships each year.
Application procedures
- A bi-national Fulbright Commissions/Foundations or U.S. Embassies processes all foreign student’s program applications
- Contact Fulbright Commission/Foundation or U.S. Embassy in your home country for application submission
- Deadline varies per country but is around February to October annually

- Global Korea Scholarship – Funded By Korean Government
Global Korea Scholarship – Funded by Korean Government is open to International Students.
The scholarship allows Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Graduate-level programs in the field of All Subjects taught at South Korea Universities. The deadline for the scholarship is Open.
Application Procedures;
- You should submit all documents related to your scholarship application to the Korean Embassy in your country of residence or the domestic university concerned.
- The Korean Embassy or the domestic university sends proper candidates to NIIED with the required documents.
- NIIED evaluates potential candidates and notifies the Korean Embassy of the final selected KGSP grantees.
- Orange Knowledge Programme Netherlands
Orange Knowledge Programme Netherlands is open to International Students. The scholarship allows Short Training, a Master’s level program in the field of All Subjects taught at Netherlands Universities including a fully-funded master’s program in environmental science. The deadline for the scholarship is Varies.
The Orange Knowledge Programme aims to contribute to a society’s sustainable and inclusive development. Its scholarships are open to mid-career professionals in specific countries. Some of these specific countries include Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Colombia, Congo (DRC), Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Myanmar, Niger, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Vietnam, Yemen, and Zambia.
Application Procedures
You need to apply directly to a Dutch higher education institution of your choice. Contact the Dutch higher education institution which offers the OKP-qualified course of your choice for application procedures. The Dutch institution can give you more information on the various steps involved in the application and selection procedures, as well as the eligibility criteria. Deadline varies depending on the course and the University.
Note: Ensure you embark on eligibility research before applying to ensure you are indeed eligible for the scholarship.
- Chinese Government Scholarship Scheme 2022-2023 (Fully-funded)
The Chinese Government Scholarship-Chinese University Program for international students is open for application by outstanding students to study in China for the new academic session as specified by the scholarship board. The program is Chinese Government-funded support established by the Chinese Ministry of education (MOE) in support for Chinese universities to recruit outstanding full-time master’s and doctoral international students for graduate studies in China.
The Chinese University Program offers a fully-funded scholarship covering tuition waiver, accommodation, stipend, and comprehensive medical insurance and can be taken in any university/higher institution of learning in China.
Application Procedures
- You are required to refer to your choice Chinese university in the list of universities specified by the board (https://www.campuschina.org/universities/index.html) for specific instructions on how to apply and deadlines.

- British Council IELTS Award 2022
British Council IELTS Award establishment was in order to assist high caliber individuals who have a strong motivation to develop their careers and who can demonstrate that they have the potential to contribute to society with their studies.
The award will enable successful applicants to study at an undergraduate or postgraduate level at an institution of higher education anywhere in the world (in Germany or abroad), in an English-taught program that accepts IELTS as part of its admission requirements.
However, The British Council IELTS Award is worth between £3,000 up to £10,000 depending on the tuition fees of the institution chosen by the winner and will go towards the cost of tuition fees of the individual’s selected course. The award applies only to courses in the 2022-23 academic year (i.e. starting August 2022 onwards) and will be paid directly to the institution.
Application Procedures
- Take the IELTS test at a British Council authorized center in Germany and receive an official Test Report Form (TRF) dated between 1 June 2021 and 30 June 2022 issued by the British Council in Germany. Please note that a TRF issued by a test center outside of Germany cannot be accepted.

- Applications will initially be reviewed to ensure that they meet the British Council IELTS Award eligibility criteria and assessed by a panel of British Council/higher education representatives.
- Successful applicants will be shortlisted based on their applications, including their personal statement
- Shortlisted applicants will be asked to provide evidence to support their application, such as a copy of their IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) and a copy of their ID.
- The final shortlisted applicants will be interviewed (online) by a panel of British Council/higher education experts.
